Put the number of items you want into the box below the item on the page which puts them into your shopping cart. Click "check out." That takes you to our order form for you to fill it out.

At the bottom is says, Submit Order. Click that button and your order will go to Cardservice International's secure server for processing of either your credit card number or your electronic check. Cardservice was recommended to us by our bank as a safe way to process our orders.

Upon approval your order will go automatically to the manufacturer where your item(s) will be made (usually within 48 hours) and drop shipped directly to you.

Checks and Money Orders Policy
Currently we are only able to accept postal money orders in U.S. dollars or checks in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Checks must also have a valid nine-digit bank routing number (ABA code) MICR-encoded on the bottom of the check. FYI -- If we receive a check, we ship after the check has cleared just like Amazon.com. To quote them: Paying by check does slow down your order somewhat, as we don't order your items until your check is received, and we don't ship the items to you until your funds clear. If you are in the United States, paying by personal check typically delays your order two to three weeks. We know you wouldn't bounce a check ... but our bank says there are 457 MILLION bounced checks a year in the US alone! If Amazon's not set up to deal with the paperwork nightmares this can cause, we sure can't! And if a check does bounce, we must charge you a $25. fee because that's what our bank charges us to process the bounced check. Thanks for understanding.

FAQs

Change My Order

Q: I need to change my order. How?

A: Once an order is submitted to us, we can't, even with immediate notification, stop it or make a change to it. This is because our order process is completely automated and, once submitted, the order goes by computer directly to the maunfacturer. At that point it's out of our hands. We're happy to figure it out with you after arrival of the product, but before then ... there's nothing we can do.


Order Not Received

Q: I placed an order but haven't received it yet, where is it?

A: Please allow up to 2 weeks for regular delivery of your order. Our manufacturers' turn-around time is 48 hours under normal circumstances, and UPS ground is 10 days. If you have not received your order by then, e-mail us at support@SubRosaStore.com and provide your name, and the complete mailing address including zip code, the item ordered and the form of payment-eg; was your check cashed? Did you use a credit card and the charge is on your statement? Did you request that your order be mailed to a different address? To look up an order, we will need the complete mailing address including zip code. Also include the name of the person who placed the order if it wasn't you.


Price Difference

Q: Why is there a price difference if I put a coupon code into the computer online?

A: Sub Rosa occasionally offers group discounts or ad promotions, or you might have been given a discount coupon by one of the "Friends of Sub Rosa," our affiliate program. You will enter a "Coupon Code" in the box provided on our shopping cart and if the code is accepted by the site, you will receive a discount on your purchase and your total will reflect that savings.

Problem Submitting Online Order

Q: I tried to place an order through your web site, but it wouldn't go through. What's wrong?

A: There are a variety of reasons that an order will not submit. Our web server may be busy or down, the connection from your service provider may be down, or there may be a problem with your computer or software. You may either wait and try to submit your order at a later time or you can call us toll free at 877.243.0701 and either talk to a human during afternoon business hours Pacific time or you are welcome to leave a message. We can call you back or you can place your order on the machine. Thank you.


Incomplete Order/Missing Items

Q: I only received part of my order. Where are the other items?

A: Because our books are printed at one manufacturer, the CDs made at another, the jewelry made somewhere else and the T-shirts and the like made at a different spot altogether they are all drop shipped from their place of manufacture and most are shipped as they are produced. If you have ordered more that 1 item of a different type they will come in separate packages. Please allow up to 2 weeks for each package to arrive.

A: Sub Rosa's privacy policy is simple. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, anywhere, at any time, for any reason. Period. We respect the privacy of our visitors and our customers. However, this site contains links to other sites. Sub Rosa is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of other web sites. Sub Rosa may use e-mail addresses or other personally identifiable information that you have given us - like your name - to contact visitors who directly communicate with us. Sub Rosa reserves the right to release information on users if compelled to do so by the proper judicial or governmental authorities. Q: Who is Sub Rosa Books?

A: Sub Rosa Books is a division of a Motion Picture and Television Production Company that has been covertly operating in Hollywood since 1980. Formed by Robin Krause as an adjunct to her late husband's company, for the last few years Sub Rosa has been on its own developing talent ready scripts with tremendous commercial potential. Recently Robin made the decision to restart her book publishing company which had been inactive for years due to the impossible schedule she kept in films and the difficulty of the book manufacturing process fitting into her hectic life. Now, with the amazing advances in digital printing and the Internet from which to operate, the time is ripe for Sub Rosa Books.

Q: Why is Sub Rosa publishing books?

A: It has always been the dream of Sub Rosa's president, Robin Krause, to publish books. There is a special synergy between films and books that can't be denied. Sub Rosa's mission is to make books, motion pictures, television and new media programs that inspire, educate and help people to understand their lives - and the lives of the animals on this planet through the format of very commercial product. Sub Rosa may be new to the book business, but all our books are of the highest quality, either written or edited by Entertainment Industry professionals.


e-Book Problems

Q: I don't hear any sound or music on my e-Book. Why?

A: There are two possible reasons for this. One is that you aren't using Adobe Acrobat Reader to read your e-Book. The e-Book will open in Adobe's e-Book reader but that program won't play the music. It's also possible that other e-Book reader programs will open the file that we don't yet know about ...
but none of them play music. So you need to check first that you are using Adobe Acrobat Reader which is the open de facto standard for electronic document distribution. More than 300 million copies have been distributed worldwide so you probably already have it but if not, or if you want a more current version, free Acrobat Reader software is easy to download from the Adobe Web site.

Reason number two - in order for sound to work in Acrobat Reader, you must have either Apple Quicktime 2.5.or later, Microsoft Video for Windows, or if you're on a Mac you must have Apple QT 2.5 or later on your computer. Quicktime 6 is the latest release of Apple's cutting-edge digital media
software for both Mac and Windows-based computers and delivers, according to their web site, "unparalleled quality for creating, playing and streaming audio and video content over the Internet."

Quicktime is also free and ships now on most computers when you buy them ... so you probably already have it too. If not, go to the address below.
